MY STORY
I am a working mum, and have always enjoyed keeping fit running, weights, classes, dancing, yoga and pilates. Previously I used to work in the City as an Investment Accountant but at 35 years old I gave up my job and my family and I moved abroad. During this time I decided I wanted a career change so retrained as a Level 2 Fitness Instructor then a Level 3 Personal Trainer, I also had my second child during this time and exercised throughout the entire pregnancy. I was amazed how much better the labour was compared to my first child (at 25 years old but didn't exercise through pregnancy). This time I had more energy and stamina to cope with the long duration and pains of labour, it felt so much easier. I recovered quicker after birth and as I didn't gain as much maternal weight gain through the pregnancy it was also quicker to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight. I decided I wanted to help others so I took a level 3 pregnancy and postnatal qualification, then an advanced CPD qualification in Modern Post Natal Assessment, Core Restore and Functional exercise programming.
For the past 2 years I have been working as a Personal Trainer in one of the top leading gyms in the UK. During this time I have worked with a large variety of clients both men and women, younger and older, pregnant and post natal, clients with postural problems, low back pain, neck and shoulder pain, knee pain, and post breast cancer surgery rehabilitation. I am passionate about my job and find it very rewarding working 1-2-1 with my clients and getting them the results they deserve.
I have now decided at 45 years old to set up my own business from home and transformed my larger than normal garage into a lovely gym and make more affordable sessions but with the same expertise.
